Board of Directors Meeting Chaired by Governor and COSB Board Chairman Mustafa Yavuz
The Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone Board of Directors meeting was held in the meeting hall of the Adana Governorship, chaired by our Governor and COSB Board Chairman, Mr Mustafa Yavuz, with the Board members in attendance.
The meeting addressed the work being carried out to strengthen Adana's industrial infrastructure and to support regional development in a sustainable way, and the current state of Ceyhan OSB was assessed comprehensively.
The Governor emphasised that Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone is one of the most important strategic projects that will shape the Adana economy, and stated that increasing the zone's production capacity, developing employment and further strengthening the investment climate are among its priority goals.
The meeting discussed in detail the infrastructure and superstructure investments continuing in the first phase, the parcel allocation processes and the status of the facilities that have started production, as well as the expansion works planned to begin in the second phase and the preparations for new investment areas. The work to be done on the zone's logistics advantages, its transport connections and the effective use of its energy infrastructure was reviewed, and a roadmap was set for the investments planned to be realised.
Decisions were taken to strengthen cooperation and coordination between institutions so that Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone can continue to develop in line with high value-added production, increased export capacity and a sustainable approach to industry.
