Board of Directors Meeting Chaired by Governor of Adana Mustafa Yavuz

After the Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone Board of Directors meeting, the Governor of Adana, Mr Mustafa Yavuz, toured the zone, was briefed by officials on the ongoing works and assessed the latest progress on site.

As part of the inspection, the infrastructure and superstructure works under way at Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone, the road construction activities, the stormwater and sewerage lines, the drinking water network, the electricity and telecommunications infrastructure and the preparatory works for the industrial parcels were examined on site. It was stated that the works being carried out to create a modern and robust industrial infrastructure that will meet investors' needs are continuing in line with the planned schedule.

The Governor, Mr Mustafa Yavuz, emphasised that Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone holds an important place in Adana's industrial vision thanks to its strategic location, its proximity to transport networks and its investment potential. He said that, once the remaining infrastructure investments are completed, the zone will deliver significant gains in production, exports and employment.

The Governor said: “We are closely following the infrastructure and road construction works being carried out at Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone. Our efforts continue without interruption to build the strong industrial infrastructure that our region needs and to prepare a modern and sustainable production environment for our investors. With the investments now being completed, Ceyhan OSB will become one of the major production centres steering the economic development not only of our district but also of Adana and our region. The investments to be realised here will create new areas of employment, increase production capacity and make a significant contribution to our national economy.”
