Ceyhan OSB Entrepreneurs' Committee Meeting Held under the Chairmanship of Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger

The Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone (OSB) Entrepreneurs' Committee meeting was held in the Ceyhan OSB Meeting Hall, chaired by the Governor of Adana, Mr Yavuz Selim Köşger.

Before the meeting, Governor Köşger carried out comprehensive inspections across the Ceyhan OSB site and assessed the current state of the infrastructure and superstructure works on the spot. He received detailed information from the technical team on the basic infrastructure investments under way across the zone, such as the road, electricity, natural gas, utility water and drinking water lines.

Following the site inspections, the Entrepreneurs' Committee meeting, held under the chairmanship of Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger, was attended by the Sarıçam District Governor, Mr Murtaza Dayanç; the Ceyhan District Governor, Mr Ramazan Kurtyemez; the Chairman of the Adana Chamber of Industry, Zeki Kıvanç; the Assembly Chairman of the Adana Chamber of Industry, İsrafil Uçurum; the Chairman of the Ceyhan Chamber of Commerce, Şeref Can; and representatives of the relevant institutions and organisations.

In the briefing presented at the meeting by the Deputy Zone Director of Ceyhan OSB, Ali Döner, the infrastructure investments under way in the zone, the plot allocation processes, the drinking and utility water projects, investor requests and plans for the coming period were discussed in detail.

Speaking after the meeting, Governor Köşger drew attention to the strategic importance of Ceyhan OSB for Adana and the regional economy, saying:

“Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone is a project that is a candidate to become the locomotive not only of Adana but of the entire regional economy. With its proximity to transport networks, its position at the centre of the energy corridors and its port connection possibilities, Ceyhan is preparing to become Türkiye's new production base. The level reached in the infrastructure works, in particular, is extremely gratifying. Once the drinking and utility water investments are completed, the production infrastructure of Ceyhan OSB will rest on a strong foundation. Our goal is to create a model industrial zone for national and international investors.

“We are working in coordination with all our stakeholders to make Ceyhan a centre that stands out in industry, trade and employment, in keeping with Türkiye's development vision,” he said.
