Fechter Enerji Micronisation Factory Begins Operations with an Opening Ceremony

Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone (OSB), in Adana’s Ceyhan district, where investment is gathering pace, has gained yet another production facility. The Fechter Enerji Micronisation Factory, established as a German–Turkish partnership and built on an area of 9,251 square metres, was completed in as little as 10 months. The factory, which will operate in micronised production technologies, began operations with an opening ceremony.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fechter Group Emrah Tiniş said in his opening speech how pleased they were to be investing in Türkiye:

“Together with our partners in Germany, Chairman of the Board Serkan Yorat and Board Member Leonhard Fechter, we brought this important investment to life in Ceyhan. We are proud to be investing at a time when the world and Türkiye are going through economic difficulties. I hope this step will set an example.” he said.

Şeref Can, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ceyhan Chamber of Commerce (CTO) and a member of the Ceyhan OSB Entrepreneurs’ Committee, drew attention to the contribution the factory will make to the region:

“Ceyhan OSB is Adana’s third-largest organised industrial zone. This facility, which will produce high value-added products, will make a significant contribution both to the regional economy and to employment. The export of the products to be manufactured will also make us proud.”

Mr Murtaza Dayanç, Deputy Chairman of the Ceyhan OSB Board of Directors and District Governor of Sarıçam, emphasised the strategic importance of the zone:

“We were delighted that this facility was completed in as short a time as a year. With its geographical location and its port and transport advantages, and considered together with the Osmaniye and Erzin OSBs, Ceyhan OSB is the shining star of our country. This investment is a strong step on Ceyhan’s way to becoming a centre of attraction.” he said.

The opening ceremony was attended by the District Governor of Ceyhan, Mr Ramazan Kurtyemez; the Chairman of the Assembly of the Adana Chamber of Industry, İsrafil Uçurum; the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CTO, Şeref Can; the Ceyhan Harbour Master, Mustafa Yılmaz; and the Fechter Group executives Serkan Yorat, Emrah Tiniş and Leonhard Fechter, as well as many industrialists, business people and guests.
