Governor Demirtaş: “Organised Industrial Zones Are Investment and Employment Centres”

Governor Mahmut Demirtaş inspected the site of the Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone, planned over an area of about 121 hectares in Ceyhan and with its site selection completed in recent months with the approval of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.

RECEIVED INFORMATION FROM OFFICIALS
During the inspections, at which the Ceyhan District Governor Mustafa Ünlüsoy, the Yumurtalık District Governor Asalet Karabulut, the Mayor of Ceyhan Alemdar Öztürk, the Chairman of the Adana Chamber of Industry Zeki Kıvanç and representatives of public institutions and organisations were also present, Governor Mahmut Demirtaş received information from the Chairman of the Ceyhan Chamber of Commerce Şeref Can and other officials.

ORGANISED INDUSTRIAL ZONES ARE INVESTMENT AND EMPLOYMENT CENTRES
Governor Demirtaş drew attention to the fact that, as the example of the Adana Hacı Sabancı Organised Industrial Zone shows, organised industrial zones in various provinces of Türkiye, with their character as investment and employment centres, are among the most important keys to economic development. He said that the organised industrial zone to be established over a large designated area would make very important contributions to the economy of Ceyhan District, which is also described as an energy hub, as well as to the economy of Adana, the region and the country.

THE NECESSARY WORK WILL BE CARRIED OUT QUICKLY
Thanking everyone who has contributed to bringing the Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone into the economy of the city, the region and the country, Governor Mahmut Demirtaş added that the work with the relevant institutions and organisations on establishing the Ceyhan Organised Industrial Zone would be carried out quickly.

During his visit, Governor Demirtaş also carried out an inspection at the Ceyhan Energy Specialised Industrial Zone and received information from the relevant persons and organisations.
